2026 YOUTH INNOVATION CHALLENGE (YIC): ADVANCING MARINE CONSERVATION Young people are leading the charge to conserve our ocean with creative approaches and innovative ideas. The 2026 Youth Innovation Challenge (YIC): Advancing Marine Conservation is now open for proposals. Partnering with the Taiwan Ocean Conservation Administration, the Global Environmental Education Partnership seeks solutions for marine conservation challenges that are informed by research, feasible to implement, and inventive. Winning proposals will get global recognition, a $1,000 USD prize, and an invitation to the YIC award ceremony in Taiwan. Anyone ages 15–30 can take part.
